We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our team with a variety of administrative and project-related tasks. This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional office environment while assisting multiple departments with day-to-day operations.
Thalle, established in 1947, is a heavy civil construction company with a corporate office located in Hillsborough, NC and a regional office in Alvarado, Texas. Key Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical and administrative support to project teams and office staff.
- Assist with data entry, document organization, and file management (digital and physical).
- Assist project teams in the field and visit job sites to help gather information and support project activities.
- This role may require working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including high heat.
- Help maintain organized project documentation and office records.
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee documentation as needed.
- Communicate with internal teams to gather or verify information for administrative tasks.
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails as needed.
- Assist with purchase orders, invoices, delivery tickets, or other basic project documentation.
- Support office staff and management with special projects and general administrative duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college, university, or technical program preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
